Officer finds child, 3, wandering in street

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A young child has been reunited with their mom after the toddler was found wandering around in Grand Rapids.

A police officer noticed the three-year-old in the street near Fulton Street and Eastern Avenue around 11:50 a.m. Monday.

Police say a teen was watching the child when the toddler wandered away.

The mother was reunited with her child just before 12:20 p.m. Monday.

The child’s mother will not face any charges.
