Whooping cough epidemic in California


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — As health officials in California face an epidemic of whooping cough, people living in West Michigan are being urged to protect themselves.

There have been over 3,400 reported cases and two deaths from the disease in California in 2014.
