LOWELL, Mich. (WOOD) It might be like nothing you’ve ever seen before – polo on the shores of Lake Michigan! The Polo Event is an annual event to raise money for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
The Polo Event pairs the splendor of the sport of polo with a thrilling day out for all ages! It takes place on Saturday, June 28, at Meadowview Farm in Lowell. Gates open at 11 a.m. and matches begin at noon.
Activities and events include tours of the barn at Meadowview Farms, stomping of the divots between matches, and music by Sean Boney of David James Media. Lunch plates catered by Amway’s Hotel Collection are available for $10.
Tickets are $25 each. Children age 12 and under are free. You can also buy a VIP table for $500. All sponsorship package and event tickets include parking, access to lawn for picnic or lawn chair set-up, access to event tent with wine, beer, and food available for purchase, and entrance in “best picnic” and “best hat” contests.
