GRPS offers free lunch for kids this summer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids Public Schools Nutrition Services Department is offering free meals to children this summer.

The meals will be offered to children under the age of 18 at several sites all over the city, according to GRPS. Some of those site also have activities for kids.

The Summer Meals program is funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture, according to GRPS.

The Grand Rapids YMCA is also offering a free lunch program this summer.
