Muskegon man shot in back; police investigating

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) – Muskegon police are investigating an early morning shooting in which a 22-year-old man was shot in the back.

Police were called to the scene in the 300 block of Holbrook Avenue around 3:45 a.m. Sunday, police said.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Hackley Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police said he was released the same day.

Police have not released any information on a possible suspect or suspects in the shooting.
