KDPS: Credit union robbed at gunpoint

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a man robbed a Kalamazoo credit union at gunpoint Wednesday.

It happened just after noon at the Preferred Credit Union on S. Westnedge Avenue north of W. Kilgore Road, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

He was described as a dark-skinned black male in his late 20s or early 30s. He was between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 and between 165 and 175 pounds. He was wearing a light-colored, short-sleeve shirt; light-colored sweatpants; and white tennis shoes. He may have had dread locks.
