WB I-96 reopened in eastern Kent County

LOWELL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – The westbound lanes of I-96 have reopened in eastern Kent County after being shut down due to a wreck, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

The crash was in the area Alden Nash Avenue SE.

Details on the wreck weren’t released.

MDOT said the wreck was not connected to the semi-truck that flipped over in the same area earlier in the afternoon.
