GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Facebook was unavailable for about a half hour early Thursday morning.

According to USA Today, for about half an hour users who tried to access Facebook in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Israel and India received the following message: “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.”

Media outlets and users around the globe took to Twitter to express their concerns over the unavailable page.

Users were able to log-on again just before 4:30 a.m. EST Thursday.

Facebook apologized for the inconvenience in a statement: “We experienced an issue that prevented people from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100%.”
