GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The contractor who clients say never showed after being paid was arrested for the second time this week Saturday.
Jeffery Scott TenElshof II was booked into the Kent County jail Saturday, according to AccessKent online records. His I-Chat shows he was arrested by Grand Rapids Police Department on one count of felony larceny.
Court records show that TenElshof had a warrant out for his arrest accused of stealing more than $1,000 and less than $20,000 from a victim in April.
TenElshof is being held without bond in the Kent County jail pending arraignment.
Last week, a magistrate entered a default judgement ordering TenElshof to pay $1,500 plus court costs after he was a no-show to court Wednesday.
A Target 8 investigation revealed several people said TenElshof took their money without doing any of the work they hired him to do.
