Shooting outside Friday’s on Alpine, 1 hurt

WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) — A T.G.I. Friday’s was taped off while the Walker Police Department investigated a shooting in the restaurant’s parking lot Saturday night.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. at the T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant located at 3179 Alpine Avenue in Walker. One person was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, Walker police said.

Investigators made contact with another person with a gun who was taken into custody. It is unclear if the person is a suspect in the shooting. Police are investigating the relationship between the two and trying to determine what happened.
