Kent Co. Health Dept. offers free HIV testing

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kent County Health Department is offering HIV testing this week before National HIV Testing Day on Friday.

The free, walk-in tests are being offered:

9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24
Kentwood Clinic
1620 44th Street SE

9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25
Wyoming Clinic
852 47th Street SW

8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 26
Health Department
700 Fuller Avenue NE
Grand Rapids

April Hight, the supervisor of Personal Health Services at the Kent County Health Department, says the test takes only a drop of blood and results come back in about 20 minutes.
