BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Big Rapids 18-year-old who left the country amid sexual assault allegations has returned to West Michigan to face charges.
Patrick Kettner was arraigned Monday in a Mecosta County courtroom on one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of third-degree CSC.
He is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl at a party at his home in late May. Just after the alleged assault, he went to Guam, where his father is stationed in the military. That’s where he was arrested.
Douglas Robinson, 19, also faces charges in the assault of the 15-year-old, as well as a less-serious assault involving another girl at the same gathering.
Kettner is expected back in court for a pretrial hearing on July 15. Robinson is scheduled to be in court for a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
