OAKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kent County Sheriff’s Department is looking into two home invasions in Oakfield Township, northeast of Rockford.

The incidents happened between June 16 and 18, according to a Monday release from the sheriff’s department. The first, at a residence on 11 Mile Road NE between Ramsdell Drive and Nugent Avenue, happened during the day on June 16.

The other home invasion happened sometime between the 16th and 18th at a residence in the same stretch of 11 Mile — less than a mile away from the first, a map shows.

It’s unclear what, if anything, was stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s department at 616.632.6100 or Silent Observer at 616.774.2345.
