MSP: Motorcyclist dies after shooting, crash

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man died last week in Muskegon Heights after being shot and crashing his motorcycle, police say.

It happened around 2 a.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Peck Street, near Hovey Avenue, according to Michigan State Police.

MSP says it’s unclear whether Jake Rameau was shot before or after his motorcycle crashed on Peck Street.

Rameau, 26, died at the scene.
