Big plans for a 4th celebration in GR


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) It’s shaping up to be a big celebration along the Grand River in Grand Rapids for the 4th of July. It all starts with Celebration on the Grand on Friday, July 4 at Ah-Nab-Awen Park. Live music, food vendors and all kinds of family fun.

The fun continues on Saturday, July 5 with the Amway Family Fireworks in downtown Grand Rapids at Ah-Nab-Awen Park. The Family Fun Zone is from 2pm-9pm. The Re/Max balloon is to be tethered on site starting at 5:45pm.

All entertainment, events and activities are free and open to the public.

Musical and Entertainment Lineup:
6 p.m. — The ChupaCobras
7 p.m. — Vox Vidorra
8 p.m. — Daredevil Circus Company
9 p.m. — Three’s A Crowd

Fireworks begin about 10:30 p.m.
