2 shootings in Kzoo, 4 people hurt

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD)– Public Safety Officers are investigating after two shootings left four people injured.

The first shooting happened just before 2 a.m. Saturday at the corner of Douglas Avenue and Mason Street. Authorities say three people were shot at that scene, two women and a man. We’re told the man was shot in the face. However, officials say all of the injuries are considered non life threatening.

Shortly after the shooting at Douglas Avenue and Mason Street, another shooting took place at the corner of North Burdick Street and Clay Street.

Officers say one person was shot at that location and suffered non life threatening injuries.

It’s unclear what lead up to both shootings. Currently, officers do not have any suspects in either shootings.
