ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a fire at a vacant house last week was arson.

The fire broke out at the empty house in the 10000 block of 112th Avenue, near Luce Street, around 4:30 a.m. July 3, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

Several fire department responded to the scene, but the house was a total loss.

The fire was incendiary in nature, which makes it an arson, the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 616.738.4000 or Silent Observer at 877.887.4536.
