Reward in jogger’s death now $10K

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — The reward for information in the homicide of a Muskegon County jogger has been increased to $10,000.

Rebekah Bletsch died of a gunshot wound to the head on the evening of June 29. It happened on Automobile Road near Lakewood Road in Dalton Township, less than mile from Bletsch’s house. The 36-year-old wife and mother often went jogging in that area.

The reward for information in the case was previously $2,500, but has since been increased to $10,000 after private citizens raised the additional money, according to Silent Observer.

Anyone with information is asked to call Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department at 231.724.6658 or Silent Observer at 231.72.CRIME. Tips can be texted to 274537 with MKGTIP and then the message.

Bletsch leaves behind a husband and 11-year-old daughter.
