Touring our State Capitol


LANSING, Mich (WOOD) Chances are, if you grew up in Michigan, you may have traveled to Lansing, and toured the State Capitol building for a school trip.
It’s an excellent way to learn about Michigan’s history and how our state’s government works. Thousands of people experience this tour every year, come with us as we take you inside the State Capitol building, for a unique learning experience.

State Capitol tours run Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. Tours of the State Capitol building, Michigan Historical Museum and Hall of Justice are scheduled up to a year in advance, so keep that mind when scheduling a tour for yourself, or a group.
