WATCH: Storm winds caught on camera

BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Surveillance video shows the strength of the wind during Sunday night’s storm and tornado in the southern metro Grand Rapids area.

The video shows the parking lot of Titan Equipment, located near the interchange of US-131 and M-6. That’s near where the EF-1 tornado touched down around 10:20 p.m. Sunday to start its 10-minute, six-mile path across Wyoming and Kentwood.

In the video, the parking lot lights shake and power goes out as the storm comes through. Sparks can be seen flying. Trees in the background bow with the wind.
