GR Beer Fest rescheduled for Sept. 13

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids Beer Fest has been rescheduled.

It was originally set for Saturday at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in downtown Grand Rapids.

But promoter Matt Flynn, who is organizing the event, said he had to change the date because he needs to be with his father, who is ill.

He said he worked with City of Grand Rapids event officials to reschedule the Beer Fest for later this summer in the same location, but that the park is booked until October.

He said the earliest date available was Sept. 13 at Heartside Park in the Arena District.

Flynn said all tickets will be honored.
