Kentwood hosting meeting on storm assistance

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) – The City of Kentwood will be hosting an informational meeting on Monday for people in need of assistance due to the July 6 tornado.

Representatives from the City of Kentwood will be having a community informational meeting on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Kelloggsville Christian Reformed Church located at 610 52nd Street.

Mayor Stephen Kepley, along with the Police, Fire and Department of Public Works will be there with representatives from volunteer organizations including the Salvation Army and Red Cross, according to a news release.

The meeting will have information on recovery efforts, city services and other resources to help remove debris and repair houses.
