Experience fun at the Kroc Center

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) With many kids out of school, some are spending quite a bit of time with their grandparents this summer and there are great places all generations can enjoy together. Our Grandma on the Go is keeping her grandkids active in a safe and fun environment where there’s always something fun going on.

The Salvation Army Kroc Center offers tons of awesome amenities for children of all ages as well as adults! The Kroc Center’s mission is to be a gift to the community by meeting their needs and providing life-changing experiences.

Inside, there are activities such as a rock climbing wall, an indoor pool and water park while outside you can experience the fun at the splash pad and playground! The fishing pond is also a great spot provided at the Kroc Center! You can bring your own pole and drop it in the pond near the playground and see if you can catch a fish or two.

Day passes for the inside of the Kroc Center are just $7.50 for adults and $5.50 for children. All outdoor activities are free for everyone!

On Saturday, July 12 and 26, kids can chill off from one to four on the giant slip and slide outside and it’s absolutely free! Bring your swimsuit and towel and the Salvation Army Kroc Center provides the tubes.

Families can camp overnight for just $10 a person at the Kroc Family Camp Out on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27. You can register by giving them a call and get the details on their website.
