Man stabbed in chest in SE GR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – A man is in serious but stable condition after being stabbed in the chest Monday morning.

The victim was stabbed in the 1200 block of Fisk Street at Fuller Avenue in Grand Rapids Monday, according to police.

The man is being treated at the hospital for a stab wound to the chest. He is in serious but stable condition, police said.

The victim and suspect did know each other, according to authorities. Police said the suspect is not in custody, but they are still investigating and following tips to his location.
