Crews called to 2nd fire at house

BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Fire crews responded to the scene of a house fire south of Grand Rapids twice Tuesday.

The fire was in the 4600 block of 76th Street, near Kenowa Avenue SW in Byron Township.

An initial report was that the house was fully involved, according to Kent County Dispatch. Photos from a 24 Hour News 8 viewer showed flames coming from the building’s roof and upper story.

It was the second time Tuesday crews had been called to the house for a fire.
