Police find over 150 marijuana plants near BC

PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police have found a marijuana grow operation north of Battle Creek Monday.

The Pennfield Law Enforcement Team executed a narcotics search warrant in the 100 block of Sharon Avenue around 2:00 p.m. Monday, according to a news release.

Police found grow lights, electrical equipment and more than 150 marijuana plants, police said.

Once evidence has been processed, an arrest warrant will be submitted to the Calhoun County Prosecutor’s Office, the release said.
