Tarzan takes over Forest Hills Fine Arts Center


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Students are getting ready for the opening night of Tarzan the Broadway Musical, at Forest Hills Fine Arts Center. Maranda got a chance to go behind the scenes, as students put the finishing touches on their big performance.

The students are part of Forest Hills Public Schools Summer Stock program.

The musical tells the story of the young son of an English couple is raised by a tribe of gorillas after his family is shipwrecked off the coast of Africa.

Summer Stock is Forest Hills’ annual musical theater summer study program for ninth- through 12th-grade students.

Tickets are available at the FAC Box Office, 600 Forest Hill Avenue, or online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for students 18 and under.
