Man shot while walking down street

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD)– Police are investigating a shooting after a man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police say the man arrived at the hospital around 2 a.m. Saturday and told officers that he was walking down the street when he was shot on Bemis Street, near Fuller Avenue. It’s unclear how serious his injuries are at this point. Police say the victim isn’t cooperating.
