Man stabbed twice after argument

PENN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man is recovering after being stabbed in Cass County early Sunday.

The incident happened just after midnight in the 60000 block of Main Street in Penn Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said 46-year-old Mark Perkins of Dowagiac told deputies he got into an argument with someone who ended up pulling a knife on him and stabbing him twice.

Perkins was sent to the hospital and has since been released.

The suspect was arrested and is awaiting arraignment.
