To The Point: 60th and 62nd state House

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – This week’s episode of To The Point features candidates from the 60th District and the 62nd District running for a seat in the state House of Representatives.

60th District, which covers Kalamazoo
Democrat Sean McCann is running for an open Senate seat, which leaves his current state House seat open. David Buskirk, Pamela Brown Goodacre and Jon Hoadley are looking for their party’s nomination to face Republican Mike Perrin in November.

62nd District, which covers Calhoun County
Representative Kate Segal is term-limited and three fellow Democrats and two Republicans are hoping to replace her. Terris Todd, Dave Morgan and Andy Helmboldt are running on the Democratic ticket and Art Kale and John Bizon are the Republicans looking for their party’s nomination.
