To The Point: Gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – On the July 13, 2014 episode of To The Point, Democratic candidate for Governor Mark Schauer sat down with Rick Albin.

Schauer, who represented Michigan’s 7th District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2009 to 2011, discussed why he decided to run for governor, facing incumbent Republican Rick Snyder.

In the episode, Schauer discussed why he thinks Snyder has not properly funded education in the state.

He also discussed what he had to do to make his case for voters, and how Michigan Democrats are mobilizing for the upcoming election.
