ALAMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Police are looking for the driver of a pick-up truck that was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday.
The hit-and-run happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of B Avenue and Ravine Road in Alamo Township Sunday, according to a Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The accident occurred when a dark colored pick-up truck failed to yield to a northbound vehicle. The northbound vehicle rolled over and ended up on its roof and entrapped the driver until Alamo Fire and Rescue arrived, according to police.
The victim, 48-year-old Bobbie Sue Prause of Otsego, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Police are looking for the vehicle described as a black Dodge Ram pick-up truck with larger wheels, push bumper, fog lights and a large silver tool box in the back. The pick-up truck left the scene and should have heavy front-end damage, the release said.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information on the location and identity of the pick-up truck driver.
