Ludington State Park

LUDINGTON, Mich (WOOD) Our state has about a hundred state parks and when the weather’s beautiful, they’re a magnet for campers and visitors. We all have our favorites, but near the top of the list, and at the very top for many,  is Ludington State Park.

It’s huge, it’s user friendly, it’s gorgeous and much more. Ludington State Park is about an hour and a half from Grand Rapids. It’s a campers paradise, there are 373-sites, which is big, but it fills up fast. The park allows you to reserve a spot 6-months in advance.

There’s so much to see and do, you can even apply to be a volunteer lighthouse keeper at Big Sable, just head to www.splka.org to learn more about that opportunity.

For more on Ludington State Park, and what to do while you’re in Ludington, head to pureludington.com.  It’s wonderful resource which includes places to eat, shop, and information about beaches and events.
