Police asking for public’s help in burglar search

PORTLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — The Portland Police Department is asking for the public’s help to track down a possible burglar.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late twenties to early thirties, about 5’8″ to 5’9″ last seen wearing a baseball cap and carrying a shoulder bag.

The suspect is believed to be driving an older, white pick-up (unknown make or model) with a long bed and possible tool box in the back. The truck also had a Texas license plate and the lettering of UICC, standing for Utility Inspection Control Center.

The possible suspect vehicle has been seen in the area of several home invasions and vehicle larcenies in Portland.
