1 dead after motorcycle, car collide

One person was killed when a motorcycle and car collided in Wyoming. (July 24, 2014)

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon after colliding with a car in Wyoming.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. on Clyde Park Avenue near 28th Street, according to Wyoming police.

Police say the 53-year-old motorcyclist from Wyoming was speeding down Clyde Park and popping a wheelie.

The motorcyclist then struck a car that was pulling out of a parking lot near 28th Street.

Police say the driver of the car didn’t see the motorcyclist coming.

Clyde Park was closed between 28th Street and 32nd Street for a time.
