Power outage for repairs in Grandville/Wyoming

GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Consumers Engery cut power to nearly 4,400 customers in Grandville and Wyoming for about an hour Thursday evening for repairs.

The outage lasted less than an hour and affected about 4,366 customers in area bordered by Lee Street, Burlingame Avenue, 44th Street and Wilson Street.

The power was turned off so crews could “safely perform emergency repairs” on a substation, Consumers said.
