GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The 16th annual Taste of Grand Rapids at Fifth Third Ball Park begins Friday.
More than 20 restaurants from the Grand Rapids area are participating in the event.
The Taste of Grand Rapids is a two-day event starting at 3 p.m. Friday and again at 11 a.m. Saturday, with both days ending at 10 p.m.
Admission is free and food tickets are available for purchase: four tickets for $5, eight tickets for $10, and 16 tickets for $20. Parking costs six dollars.
Along with food tasting, attendees will be able to enjoy live, family-friendly entertainment with classic rock acts on Friday and country performers on Saturday.
Also new this year, teams will compete in a McCormick BBQ Challenge. The winner of the challenge will have a chance to win up to $5,000 as a grand prize.
