KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — The suspect in the murder of a 19-year-old in Kalamazoo has turned himself in.

DaQuan Pritchett, 18, surrendered himself at Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety headquarters Sunday, KDPS says.

Police say Pritchett shot 19-year-old Christopher Lee Adams Wednesday night on Mount Olivet Street. Adams died later at the hospital.

KDPS named Pritchett as a suspect Saturday and said he was considered armed and dangerous.
