GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Music will take over Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids for two nights as GRandJazzFest gets under way on August 16 and 17.
The third annual GRandJazzFest is presented by DTE Energy Foundation. The two days of free live jazz music is open to anyone! Bring folding chairs, blankets, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages and just relax. The event is family friendly!
New this year, a VIP area will be set up for sponsors on the Grand Rapids Art Museum terrace. But the public can get in on the fun, too! Another area of the terrace will be open for people to buy beverages. There will also be food trucks stationed in the area. Saturday night, head out for an after party and jam session at The B.O.B.
Organizers of the GRandJazzFest are still looking for volunteers! You can work at the merchandise tent, pass out programs, or help clean up. It’s just a few hours. You get a free t-shirt and get to hear all the great music! If you’re interested in volunteering, check out the GRandJazzFest website.
GRandJazzFest is August 16 and 17 starting at noon at Rosa Parks Circle.
