GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) A celebration of creativity takes place in Grand Rapids with The Market at Avenue for the Arts. The festival lines Division Avenue from Fulton to Cherry on Friday, August 1.

There will be more than 40 artist booths with handmade crafts, musicians, performances, and food trucks. Galleries along Division will also be open, hosting exhibitions.

One of the artists you’ll see is Nicole McPherson. She specializes in handmade jewelry featuring sterling silver, gems, and freshwater pearls. Her items are affordable; most of them under $35.

Claire Breen is one of the performers that will be taking the stage. She’s part of musical group called “Crooked Arrows” Hear her perform in the eightWest studio. She will be live on stage at Avenue for the Arts at 6:30 p.m.

The Market presented by Avenue for the Arts is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on August 1 along Division Avenue in Grand Rapids. It is free to attend!
