The Wyoming Public Safety Department is hosting the cookout to thank residents of the area for their assistance in the weather emergency and their help re-building the neighborhood.

It is also a chance for residents to meet the firefighters and police officer who responded when the tornado hit on the night of July 6.

Firefighters and police officers will be cooking on the outdoor grills in the church’s parking lot and Police Chief Jim Carmody promises plenty of food for everyone.
