GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Three young ladies are making a big difference, one cup of lemonade at a time. They started a lemonade stand to raise money to help Well House in Grand Rapids.

Well House is a number of houses that provide housing for formerly homeless people. They currently have 14 people in five houses. The residents pay rent, and many of them have jobs or work in the gardens at Well House. It takes a lot of money to keep the operation running and maintain the houses, and that’s where Reese, Alexa, and Aubrey come in.

The girls got the idea to start a lemonade stand to raise money to help homeless people. They ended up raising $777 for Well House! The project was so successful, they started a GoFundMe web page, which is already more than $500 toward its $750 goal! If you want to help you can donate online. To learn more about Well House, visit their website or call (616) 245-3910.
