GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police say they found an abandoned, crashed vehicle after a report of shots fired Monday evening.

Grand Rapids police say they responded to the area of Hall Street and Butler Avenue SE after a report of shots fired.

There, they discovered a crashed vehicle with no one inside.

Not long after the car was found by police, someone showed up a Grand Rapids emergency room with a gunshot wound to the face.

The victim, 18, is being treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
