Lineup set for WYCE Wealthy Theatre fall concert series

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) The line-up for the WYCE: Live at Wealthy Theatre fall concert series has been announced. The series helps benefit area non-profit organizations, and brings in some big acts!

Monday, September 8
An Evening with Vieux Farka Tourè
Benefiting Ebony Road Players
Members: $18 adv./$20 day of show
Non-members: $23 adv./$25 day of show

Thursday, October 16
An Evening with Joan Osborne
Benefiting Hospice of Michigan: Sound Service
Members: $25 adv./$35 day of show
Non-members: $30 adv./$40 day of show

Wednesday, November 12
An Evening with My Brightest Diamond
Benefiting Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition
Members: $13 adv./$15 day of show
Non-members: $15 adv./$18 day of show

Friday, December 12
An Evening with The Bad Plus
Benefiting Pets for Vets West Michigan
Members: $20 adv./$23 day of show
Non-members: $25 adv./$28 day of show

You can get tickets online now on the Wealthy Theatre website. New this year is a season pass. For $75, you get admission to all four concerts, plus a year of basic membership to the Community Media Center! Members receive bar privilege at Wealthy Theatre and discounted tickets on future shows.

WYCE is making it easy for you to clean out your old music. They are taking donations of records and CDs for their upcoming music sale at the Eastown Street Fair on Saturday, September 13. You can donate music of all varieties through the months of July and August. Drop off your donations at the Community Media Center at 711 Bridge Street NW during regular business hours. Come out for WYCE’s Tuesday Evening Music Club. Concerts at Frederik Meijer Gardens are free with paid admission each Tuesday in August at 7 p.m. On August 5, hear Mid Life Crisis and Serita’s Black Rose.
