Fighter jets kick off screening of “Top Gun”

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Many guests at Ah-Nab-Awen Park were surprised to see three fighter planes fly overhead to celebrate the showing of “Top Gun” Friday night.

The 1980s classic,”Top Gun” was the fifth night of Movies in the Park 2014.

The planes were World War II-era and were a rare entertainment addition that officially kicked off the screen of the film.
