MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. (WOOD) — A man has been arraigned on a felony assault charge after firing a gun at two people.

Roger Lynn, 52, of Hersey was arrested Thursday after two men called 911 just after midnight saying they were at his house when he pointed a handgun at them and fired a shot, barely missing them.

When deputies arrived at the home they discovered evidence of the gunshot, but Lynn had already fled the home.

Detectives executed a search warrant at his home and found multiple weapons and other evidence.

Lynn was located at a relatives house on Thursday and taken into custody without incident.

He was arraigned on Friday in the 77th District Court on a charge of felony assault with great bodily harm less than murder. He is being held at the Mecosta County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
