Helping those facing an addiction

Helping people through addiction

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) When someone is struggling with addiction, we know that at least five other people are affected by their affliction every single day. There is help for those who struggle in West Michigan, at Guiding Light Mission.

Michael Richman, is a state licensed professional counselor with Guiding Light Mission and he has some ways for us to help those we love who are impacted by addiction.

The recent death of Robin Williams is helping to create awareness about addiction and issues like depression. Richman says people like parents, husbands, wives and friends can play a crucial role in the recovery process.

Guiding Light Mission is donor supported and is a fully-licensed treatment center and free of monetary charge for those who need help.
