Sheriff’s Dept.: 1 stabbed during argument

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One person was stabbed during a Tuesday morning argument near Holland, authorities say.

It happened around 7 a.m. in the 300 block of Elm Street, which is near W. Lakewood Boulevard in Holland Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

A 27-year-old is accused of stabbing a 29-year-old as the pair argued, the sheriff’s office said.

The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested at the scene and is expected to be arraigned Wednesday.
