GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — A wreck shut down a section of eastbound I-196 in Grandville for hours Wednesday.

It occurred east of the 28th Street exit shortly before noon.

It appeared that the wreck involved one semi-truck that leaked some type of substance onto the highway, which remained closed for about three hours as crews cleaned up the spill.
