Celebration of Ronnie Bialk's life

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) For some people a job is something you go to everyday to collect a paycheck, but for others, the fortunate ones, employment leads to great pride and enjoyment and in some cases a second family

That certainly was the case for Ronnie Bialk who may have worked continuously in a West Michigan restaurant longer than anyone else. We met Ronnie back in 2009 when The Cottage Bar and Restaurant was getting ready to celebrate his 60th birthday and more than four decades of working there!

This week, Ronnie’s Cottage family is mourning his loss and celebrating his life and we wanted to re-air our story with him as a tribute to a life well lived.
